J&G Steakhouse
W Hotel, Washington, D.C.
for Dianna Wong Architecture & Interior Design Inc.

"Everyone's a high-flier in the Beaux-Arts-styled dining room, where soaring 24-feet ceilings with tall double-arched windows and mirrors showcasing sweeping views of the city, the White House Gardens and Washington Monument. Designed by the ambassador of ambience Dianna Wong, host with the most at a table with macassar ebony accents and red and ivory upholstery, or cozy up in banquettes with luscious cognac fabrics and leather seats, framed by iridescent black cherry drapes. All around, ceiling and wall murals adorned with abstract interpretations of cherry blossoms and coins by San Francisco artist Julie Chang playfully cross the line between traditional restraint and modern sensuality. Or take steak-gate inside to two private rooms seating 10 and 15 guests, where drinks are prepared with flair under hand-blown glass chandeliers." — The W Hotel
